Wait a minute. I thought the Alice in Chains singer dies of an OD in an alley. Or am I just thinking that's what should've happened to him....?

Yeah, he OD'd back in 2002. At his place, not an alley. Was such a waste, he had a great voice. I dunno if you ever listened to AiC, but on Dirt (which I listened to just about every day in high school) just about every song is about junk.

The band is back together w/another singer. They've also had a lot of guest singers jump onstage at various shows, e.g. Mark Lanegan and Billy Corgan did a song each at one show, Phil Anselmo did a song w/them a while ago, etc...

Damn shame. I did listen to them a lot in the 90's - they're one of the better bands from that era.

I hate Billy Corgan. Have I ever said that? He did "Never Let Me Down Again' w/ teh Mode once and it's awful. And he got on stage w/ Bauhaus and people threw things at him and berated him. See, we goths don't like him. Er... Um... I mean, we people who prefer to dress in black because it makes our clothing easier to coordinate don't like him. Yeah.
