It's definitely gonna be good--and nerve-racking--to watch!
I did find time. The sessions at the conference ended early enough and then me and my colleague went in search of a restaurant/bar that was showing the game. It was earlier than normal since we were on Pacific time but I was able to watch both Tuesday and Thursday's games in San Diego. :)
San Diego was great! I love California, seriously.
Thunder couldn't stop Duncan down low. The man is hard working and classy. I will be cheering them on against the Heat. Hopefully Parkers injury won't by a factor.
My kid said the Thunder will never win a championship with Westbrooke at point and I have to agree. Durant is the league leading scorer yet he didn't touch the ball in the end. Westbrook was too busy throwing the ball over the backboard.
Duncan is a true athlete, that's we in TX love and respect and admire him. I like that he's been so good and never too cocky or arrogant (*cough*Westbrook*cough*). He's also never been appreciated enough because he plays for a small market. He was never Kobe-famous because he doesn't play for a team like Lakers but he's had a fantastic career and hopefully a great last run like his former teammate Robinson had in '03 before he retires. Parker's got to get healthy--I'm already praying!
Your kid is smart! After Game 4 this was my Facebook post: Uh oh Russell Westbrook has got the Kobe complex, trying to show up the star of his team. You're never gonna be Durant, dude! That guy was trying to do all the scoring and hogging the ball. Of course, the Thunder team often seems to be made up of only Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka and Jackson so maybe that's why he thinks it's up to him to score so much. Still, I think Durant could've done a better job of scoring if he'd had the ball more.

The other day I was wondering if you were able to follow the games much while you were on your trip. Hope you had a good time!
