Fucking awful: Witchsorrow

What? I was led to believe that they were a superb doom band. I'm still annoyed that I missed them two years ago. Explanation!

I like doom with groove and some semblance of rhythm. Witchsorrow are merely incredibly slow (ok, I know, doom band) and very repetitive (my main complaint). Therefore, to me they are snoozeworthy. And I'm basing this on two viewings, the second one was no better than the first.

Green Man this weekend. I should've been going and was looking forward to it, before Locky SOLD US ALL DOWN THE RIVER AND DIDN'T BUY THE TICKETS AS PROMISED.

That sounds completely shite. You have my sympathy. :( This is the only festival for which I'm attending all days (I went to one day of Sonisphere), too skint for any more. There's still tickets for Green Man on ebay if you want a go at sniping one.

Have you had your civil service thing in London yet?

Thanks, Gemma! We've put bids in for three tickets. When we checked eBay before, they were all more than twice the initial price. Those people who dropped out late must be keen to sell and are willing to accept a lower price.

Yes, I've had my thing in London and have done an LJ entry on it. I went on holiday last week thinking that I wasn't going to Green Man. Might be a tad difficult to fit the dissertation at this rate.

How was your hillwalk and pub leaving-do?
