I am so full right now that I don't want to do anything useful ever again. Delicious breakfast for dinner. Although this was prompted by a pancake craving (...I had a dream about the perfect pancake edge, okay) there were no pancakes. Alas. I will have to make do. I get the feeling that half the problem is that the translator and/or the original writer just doesn't understand how profound gender role confusion can be. Which is more then a little disheartening, really. Ginshu really is a stand out case of a good gender ambiguous character, portrayed with sensitivity, dignity, and flexibility. In P4, it felt mostly like a spoof, and it was crushing to see, in a way.
