How is there any schooling left in architecture for you? I mean, the degree you have is already a pretty major accomplishment. It totally doesn't seem fair of your parents to pressure you to do more. It's completely normal for people in our generation to get two different qualifications- my sister's doing it, my brother did it, I'm doing it next year, Wing's doing it, etc. I think you working in a job you got with your degree and doing nutrition part time seems like the best bet. Or did you mean apply to architecture schools to work, not as a student?

You are officially skinnier than me. Also you're already like 8 feet taller, so. That'll give you an idea!

the degree I have is not a master of architecture, and to make the big bucks, i need a master's. to pay off my loans i need to make more money. so my plan is to find a better job here for the summer/next year and then i can afford to do distance learning to be a nutritionist/trainer type person. so at least when i 'have' to go back to uni for this architecture shit i will have something i can do that will actually make me happy.

and my sister is going back to school for something totally unrelated to her degree, but that's okay, because she studied history. all my parents see is that i'm wasting all that money. it wasn't wasted! i am a totally different person to the 18 year old who left haverhill.

i also know i am not in love with being an architect..... what to do???

where are you going back to school? van? aawesome! x
