Sweet, gunfire didn't break out and sympathetic cops! I mean, are they trying to get someone to go repeal the proposition a load of people just voted for or something, though? Is it actually going to *do* anything?

That's the thing though. The proposition passed with barely a lead. 50% to 49% or something like that. Ergo half the population did not want this to pass. I wish it were like in Florida where a prop will only pass if it has more than 60%. Because the margin for 8 was TOO CLOSE.

Can they repeal it or something, though? I mean, if they manage to sway the .00001 or whatever it was that had been originally against it, would that actually do anything? Or would they just have to wait till the next election?

No idea. That is what all the protesting is hoping to do now. Whatever happens eventually I know they will have their rights. It's just ridiculous how it didn't get shot down now.
