 Was I the only one who noticed (and I confess I might have been) that this country elected its first African-American president EXACTLY forty years and seven months after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr?  Just saying.

Well, lots of people noticed that he accepted the nomination forty years (to the day, right?) later, so...
