Check this out. I get this new book from a friend of mine for my b-day present. It inspires me to take action in my life and tonight I can proudly say that I have zero balences on all of my credit cards. I have also taken 20% of my last pay check and bonus and socked it away for the club that I am going to rejoin tomorrow night. *sigh ( Read more... )

That book is such an inspiration.

Gawd... I love the way that sounds "taking action!!"

p.s. I was the loser knocking on the citybus window and waving as you rode your bicycle past where we were stopped this afternoon!

I totally didn't hear you this morning as I toted along on my big bad bike. I love that I have a super duper bike to peddle around. This morning I was off to the surgeon so he could see the final out come of my surgery, looks like I'm not getting that pirate scar that I wanted. Bastard is just too good, you can't even tell he cut into me.
As I was biking though... I was thinking about how I am going to cross train this summer and I have come up with a super plan. I hope I can share it with you soon.
Oh and sist'a it's all about taking action, Drew bought a new book that is similar to fly lady and can we talk about my family getting organized and not just me organizing around myself around my family? It's all about team work! I feel a light inside that is screaming to get out and yell "We must all take action!!!"

I won't allow myself to get a credit card. I know the trouble that I'll eventually get myself into. I just use a debit card for all of my money needs.

Debit would work if I wasn't putting myself through school. I have the credits cards because I don't have student loans, lines of credit or mommy and daddy. It's all me baby, funding my school addiction all by myself.
I've done it like this for years. Here's the thing though, normally, just as I am finished paying off the last year I have to start doling out for the new year it seems as though I never get just that little bit ahead BUT this year... check me out. It's not even close to September and I have it all paid off my broth'a.
I am ahead of scheduale... and I owe it all to the book.
