Parenting seems like such a strange thing. I often hear friends who have children talk about how critical other parents are in regard to parenting style different from their own. Walk through a store, or especially the zoo, and you'll see the whole range of styles in a very short amount of time.

WTF?!
Yesterday I planted tomato plants. Yes, I know I should have done that nearly two months ago, but damnit, I did it anyway. At least come September there will maybe be a few last red ones and plenty of green ones and one night I can splurge and do fried green tomatoes. Things have been relatively consistent lately, which is something I'm coming to enjoy. Not necessarily the depression associated with the situation, but I have a relative routine where I feel I accomplish a few things every day. That's a pretty good feeling. There's a particular habit that mom has developed that has definately begun to get under my skin. Yes, Nana is doing poorly. She came leaps and bouds for the days after the surgery until Saturday.
