My Craigslist TV ad
So I got rid of my old TV today by posting it on Craigslist. Not 20 minutes after it posted I had 15 emails in my in box. This was the ad.
27" Analog Sony TV - Free
Act now for your chance to own this piece of history. This Sony 27" TV circa 2000 is in good condition. Has multiple composite input (yellow video cable, red/white audio) and an analog tuner built in. Until June 12th this TV will be able to receive broadcast signals with nothing more than a pair of rabbit ears. However it works even better hooked up to a Comcast or DirectTV set top box as well or one of those $50 digital converter boxes that nobody bought before the original Feb 13th cutoff date.(Comcast/DirectTV/converter box not included in this deal)
This soon to be historic electronic device would also be well used as a screen for any of a number of video game systems such as a PS2 or 3, XBox or Wii.
The remote control for the TV was horribly maimed in a tragic accident with a hide-a-bed couch and unfortunately had to be put down. However all the needed functions are accessible via buttons on the top of the unit and aren't needed anyway if you are hooking it up to a set top box.
