Life is in a weird state of limbo at the moment, though weirdly it doesn't really seem to matter. You sound depressed. Of course, the best way to alleviate that is to get outrageously drunk, catch a tram to the city, then pass out on the lawn of the State Library, before asking people pointless questions. I've never tried it, but I read about it in a travel guide.
