Living with housemates has its downsides.

Like people doing laundy at 10pm at night.

Not being a heavy sleeper, things like half the house shaking kinda does wake somebody up who was starting to fall asleep.

Thanks for that!

Living on my own is kinda tempting at 10:40pm at night when all you're keen to do is get a good nights sleep.

Aw that's the worst :/. Although i live alone, i kind of don't at the same time & get a lot of the noise from upstairs (veery thin internal door), but at least my flat is my own - things are where i leave them & so forth. Hope you got some sleep in the end! Seriously though, that is a bit rude, do you guys not have any kind of policy on trying to be quiet while others are sleeping? (I know people keep different hours & it's hard when there are a few of you, but still. A tired housemate is a grumpy housemate ;p).
