Oh, I liked this a lot. The quiet, sad tone throughout the piece really fits the subject, the world building with the lighthouse was well done and very Doctor Who-y, and Amy and Rory's confusion and sadness was well captured. I especially liked Rory's segment at the end, the description of the out-of-place memories he has -- it was really beautifully written.

Thank you! The lighthouse was really my inspiration for this piece, and the sadness and loneliness just layered itself on. And I'm really glad you liked the part with Rory - that came to me completely out of nowhere, but I liked it as an ending, so I kept it.

Oooh, this was great. The quiet feel of it, what Amy can't remember being at the end of the story and how and why he can't remember.

This is soft and sad and utterly beautiful. It aches in a quiet, understated way that's just gorgeous to read.

Thank you. That's exactly the tone I was going for, and I'm glad it worked for you. Amy and Rory forgetting each other is such a sad and lovely place already, it was interesting to explore exactly how they were hurting.
