I like the parallels between Idris and her Time Lord--Sera being Idris' thief. Very cool! My favourite paragraph is the second to last. Lovely.

Thank you! I worked hard on that penultimate paragraph, because I knew it could make or break the rest of the fic, and that was actually what inspired me to write the first fic. So I'm glad it worked for you.

This is a gorgeous tragedy, and it fills a hole that needed filling, in a powerful way. It's merciless little piece, a jewel, and I was filled with foreboding from the first sentence, just as I should have been. I'm favoriting this. Brava!
