I didn't even get photos of my clogged-up storm drain outside or the trail of muddy water running through my apartment because of that. I did, however, get photos of what, had I not been there to catch the initial problem, could have cost me thousands of dollars in destroyed stuff

On a completely practical note, please be sure and mop that area down very well with a chlorine bleach solution once the plumbers are gone. Ventilate while you're doing that.

Thanks for the graphics, Alisa. That was very very disgusting. :) I hope you were able to suppress the gag reflext enough to flood the place with bleach, because I know I wouldn't have had the stomach to go down there again. So nasty.
