I don't have any useful advice to help with that, I hate being itchy.

Rain is nice though, it will make things look pretty and is better to be rainy when you can't go out anyway!

I had my appendix out last weekend. Only keyhole surgery, and I'm healing well, I'm just a terrible patient!!

Oh, ouch!! Keyhole or not, it's still surgery. Milk it for all you're worth. ;) I hope you have a speedy recovery!
