Ooops....it seems I've not posted for a while. In the interests of not boring the socks you all, this is a short summary of what I've been up to since I last posted
( Read more... )
I saw Alice the night after the Motor Show, he did one other gig, in Southampton - a really good, fairly small venue. I was hoping there might be a bit of new material, but it was exactly same set as in November. Still awesome though (and still the same amazingly cute guitarist!)
You sold your saddle and didn't tell me about it? Damn you woman, Asher LOVED your saddle and we can't afford a new one! Have been looking for a decent 2nd hand one.
Hmmmm... cakes.
Its quite a lot really. Michelle (HoofMove) asked after Joe pony. She worried because she'd taken him to hospital but not picked him up. She seems so nice and caring!
I'm sorry Asher! I didn't realise quite how much he liked it!
I hadn't meant to sell it before the new one turned up, but it's gone to a very good home restoring the confidence of a very nervous friend.
Michelle is a sweetie. She's great with the horses and I love her lorry! I think she might have got a little muddled though - she took Joe to his new home, not to the hospital!
Wow. Nipple piercing. Really? Cool! (Somehow I had no problem getting a tattoo across my lower back, but piercings - other than the single ear ones I have - scare me a little. Did it hurt?)
It's something I've wanted for years and chickened out of twice before. The first one hurt like fuck, the second not so much, but they settled pretty quickly and seem to be healing well.
And cake....I've been experimenting and have some really good ones now...a chocolate cake that is even better than my chocolate brownies....very very good indeed!
having your nipples pierced is cool, but a word of warning - if you take them out even for a short time they close up (as I recently found out) and its hard to build up the courage to get them done again :(
Thanks for the warning :) I had a feeling they'd close up pretty fast, but I have no intention of finding out...I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to do that again!
A cake that is better than your brownies has been baked, several days after the LHC started up amidst warnings from some crazies that the experiments being conducted might catapault us into an alternative dimension where the laws of physics were entirely different.
I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions, people.
