The melissa shoes are so cute, but you can never ever wear them without rubbing oil on your feet or socks unless you want terrible blisters.
Note on your newest journey. My husband has a freelance graphic designer/User Interface-Front End Designer/Web Developer for 11 years, and he has always managed to make a good living from it. It was slow at first, but now at 32, he is working with multi-million $ contracts with big companies and has built a partnership with a network of similar freelances. He owns one company and is a managing partner in another with a contracted staff of 6... With your talent, resilience and smart thinking, you could probably do as well, if not better! Utilize your contacts and harness your skills in any way you can! We need more females in this male-dominated industry!!
thanks, sounds like your husband is really accomplished and successful, lucky for you :)
i know people keep telling me to strive hard while you are still young, in which i did for the past years and i realised i missed out alot of things. now im taking things slower, sparing more me-time for myself, doing things that are not 'money driven' but what i really love, like this blog and fashion! of cos i like my job too, but the feeling is not the same.
i don't know what will happen, i think i will let life take its course.
i hope this passion of mine continue to burn...and of cos not losing myself.
Cindy, you know what you should do? You should just distant from graphic design! Go do something different! Like showbiz! Stop working behind the scenes and be IN FRONT of the lights, camera and action! You're such an asian beauty, it's a pity not to flaunt it to your advantage! You're young, so you can afford 3 to 5 years in showbiz and milk all the wealth and experience you can own.
i'm definitely not that young for showbiz:p i guess i would have gone to try it out i f i had the chance long ago i was always interested in performing and stuff. but over the years as i grew older i think lesser of that and concentrate on realistic goals. as much as i like showbiz its not that easy. i dont have the socialising skills, i'm too stranger shy and get nervous easily. i'm not skinny and i have a big build. i don't exactly have that kind of qualities they looking for in asian markets...pixie face, skinny look...etc.
maybe i consider too much maybe im just afraid of trying, but i believe life will find its own way. anything can happen. and if its meant to be its meant to be. im happy the way i am right now :)
