Oh, poo. I just went to my first clarinet lesson, and my teacher told me that I have to change how much of my mouthpiece I put in my mouth. IT'S LIKE PRACTICALLY CHANGING EVERYTHING. MY EMBOSHURE + MY ARTICULATION + MY BREATH-TAKING. It's ALMOST like relearning. Oh, well. Hopefully it'll pay off. and, no, I STILL don't know how to spell emboshure. ( Read more... )

Wow, remember earlier when I talked about those clarinet lessons. I emailed the professor and told him I probably couldn't do it, and he said that he'd drop the per-week fee to $30 for this term, and then I'd get a $220 scholarship.
