Ohhhh......do I love the raw power and sexuality you put in Jack...I totally see him this way. And I love how he is desiring Elizabeth but holding back......good work! Got to read next chapter now before I make dinner! HOT in the kitchen TO-nite! LOL!

Thank you! :) Glad I could make cooking dinner more interesting, haha. Even before Elizabeth killed him, I got the impression that Jack was equally smitten and cautious of Miss Swann. There's so much to interpret between the lines! haha. Thank you for reading!

I really think Ted and Terry (writers) had no CLUE what they were getting themselves into when they wrote the Jack and Eliz. romance scenario...as if Jack could be ANY woman's road kill on the way to her real, true love (Will)? I like Will but he was nothing with her compared to J & E...sorry....That relationship with her and Jack rocked every red blooded female in the world...the ones who truly knew about the chemistry of the 'bad boy' and how enticing they are. So the writers did a complete 180 in AWE and it was just so 'off' and unresolved. IMHO, I think the 3rd movie fell flat. Not with the complexities of those two characters who came together and set off FIREWORKS in every scene they are in!!! And Eliz is in more scenes with Jack than she was with Will in the entirety of all 3 films - FACT! So Ted and Terry know nothing about women and the can of worms they opened doing that in DMC....big FOOPAH!! LOL!

I LOVE the crackling repartee you have between them! The bitter-sweet sentiments. That is how they are to me too, and you captured it completely. I enjoy the way you write them….very true to character and saucy! Excellent tension! You got the back and forth down pat, for certain! Ah yes, the Pearl's infamous cabin…what we all picture going on within THOSE walls, huh!? Loved the glance back at him over her shoulder under the brim of that hat! Great chapter!!!
To hell with dinner…I'm gonna keep reading! LOL!

Thank you so much!! :) The INFAMOUS cabin, I know! haha! It would be interesting to see how each of us picture it, I know we all have a certain something in our minds. Sorry for delaying your dinner! :)

Oh YES....if those walls could talk! LOL! And we ALL do it rather well...many of us write those sultry scenes with such realistic precision (yourself included in that company) and no matter what Eliz is in the story...from virgin to harlot, it ALWAYS works right with the characters...it is amazing the scope of stories written over the years and the different nuances...all of them I find work!! And I also have to say some of the best writing I have ever seen comes from J & E Sparabeth writers....much talent and a lot of heart in those stories....

Oh, I absolutely agree, Sparrabeth attracts some of the best writers I've ever found, including published authors. I think that type of relationship (is it love, or is it war?) attracts a certain type of person, who sees and records the world in a certain artful way... You know, people like us! :) haha

Miss Lizzie, full of curiosity….."How long?" did he want her! LOL! Love it! And doesn’t she learn fast how to use her favors wisely! LOL! Totally enjoying this!

Haha. It seemed to me that she would be a fast learner, especially in anything that could give her the upper hand on Jack. :) Thank you!

I love the roughness but tenderness of your Jack…true to form how we all pretty much love Jack. And I like your idea of how he reaped his revenge.

EXCELLENT!!! More stories Please!

Thank you! I agree, Jack is a character that is filled with dichotomy. He acts like a goofball yet I think he is so very complex. It makes him irresistible and a devil to write! haha.

More in the works. :)

So true, he is a very complex character with a natural duality that makes writing him such a joy and challenge....I mean he is every 'bad boy' any woman has ever had in her life and that is why most of us can zero in on his traits with such precision, making him so palpable and exciting....you did a great job, truly.

Now I have to read your other story! :))
