actually is very simple.

What kind of job you like?

Once you can answer that question, go and find the highest paying company with that job.

Then jump ship.

As simple as that.

If now no openings, don't leave your current one!!! WAIT!

How would you know what you really like without trying out most of the jobs out there? Not unless you really already have a passion for something.

Not many ppl know exactly what they want so fast in life I guess. So far, I know what I do not want, but not what I really want yet.

I say,

Do the things you enjoy doing and try making money out of it. Yea, said easier than done, but doing something you like will make life more enjoyable.

I believe the lesser time of notice to serve will make you more sellable to other companies.

Yeah, I'm still in a quest to search for what I really enjoy. But I don't downplay the fact that $$ is important too, for $$ is definitely the solution to some problems.

Yea.. its true that money can do many wonders in life. But somehow, its kinda sad that money can do so much yet the people aorund the world had to rely on that.

I hope you can find what you like to do, if not every month you just simply look forward to payday.

[A long-term job that pays well, but you're not much interested in?]

As long as u don hate the job. $$ matters cos we'll probably be spendin the next 50yrs alone.
