O.o at least you know how to ride a bike. did you know there is one person who could forget to ride a bike..~points to herself~ yeah me...~blushes~ i tried like half a year ago...got going and then just fell to my side in the grass. it was embarassing.

lol, my former housemate did somethnig like that. Got a bike at uni, set off to class and forgot how to turn! She went straight forwards into a bush, lol
Anyway, shaved 5 minutes off my fastest, got to work in 35 minutes today.
Felt good coming home in the pitch dark, reminds me of my old cycling days, the overnight rides were great.

OK, get a person worried. I read this last night, was to not happy to hear about the troubles you had......having some one try to take your bike, slashing the tire and having to walk home all that way....... but then I went to bed and watched a bit of the news and what was the first newscast..... about how a young boy (16 years old) was riding his bike late at night and was a victim of a hit and run. Someone hit the boy, and drove off thinking he had just hit a deer, leaving the boy there to die. So now I'm a wreck thinking of you and that bike on those dark roads........ TWO WORDS DEAR....... DRIVING LESSONS!

Two years ago, when I did all my cycling, I did nearly 8000km in about 6-7 months and I never had even a close call. The nearest I've had came as I was cycling around a busy motorway roundabout and some moron tried to pretend I wasn't there since I was a cyclist. I'm always careful though, and have a pretty good road sense... :)
