I wanted Kevin to be calling out for his mother in his less-lucid state as a way of connecting his recent loss to his present illness. I will discuss it more in the next chapter.
I think I'm done with big catastrophes, so no car accident for Daniel! I was actually planning on not having Olivia and Daniel come down, now that there has been improvement, but people seem to want to see it, so we'll see.

God damn i so hate to b in Scotty's shoes r8 now :( PLEASE kev b ok and snap out of it .. i hope Daniel n olivia's comin ovr will make kevin n scotty feel a bit better..Hugs Paige...waiting for the next part

I hope Kevin will recover quickly. Scotty needs rest, and needs Kevin...
And love Justin and Scotty relationship. Justin always has the right words to support Scotty.

I do like Scotty and Justin together, they seem like they have a very natural relationship. I wanted to show Scotty, who is always so calm and collected, having a hard time.
The next chapter will delve into Kevin's recovery, which won't go particularly well. He'll be trying to deal with his grief, and that will interfere. I plan on writing a third story to complete the series that will be have a happy ending, but there won't be much happy before that story. Downpour is all about the angst!

Great update. I like that Scotty is trying to hold it together, then can't and reaches out to Justin. Good choice. (Can't help it, I just love Justin.)

Brilliant chapter!!

You write Scotty so well, it's really true to his character. I can totally see him. Nice choice to be Justin the one who support him.

All the fic is really canon with the show! You even have write a miscarriage SL! lol!

Poor Kevin, it's so sad to imagine him like that.

Can't wait for the next chapter and to read about Daniel and Olivia with their dads.

Thank you very muchly! I try to keep everyone in character as much as possible, but it's hard to imagine how things would be twenty years later.
Yeah, the show has a lot of miscarriages, The idea for that happening to Paige came to me awhile ago, and I really wanted to show things going badly for the whole Walker clan.
I wasn't planning on having Olivia and Daniel come down, now that things improved somewhat, but a few people seem to really want it, so I'll see what I can do. I had planned out the next chapter with just Scotty and Kevin, and a few other Walkers. I'll have to see if I can fit Daniel and Olivia in.
