you are right, this is not a rainbows happy ending but it is as honest and happy as it can be and it is way more believable than kissins and making out in 2 weeks and then going for adoption.

i like the fact that you bring thingsfrom other fanfics.

Thanks for reading! I love happy endings, and I felt like this one worked; it was sweet but hopefully not too sweet. I'm glad it rang true for someone else.
I do like to connect my fics; it's almost an unconscious decision, it's like I've created my own little canon and everything fits inside that world.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it! I really liked writing it; I had to create a better way of dealing with that story line, and I'm pretty pleased with what I came up with.

loved the whole series :) but this one is my fav though, and glad they didnt turn into love birds instantly,,, they found each other again but still work in progress :) i loved the bit abt pancakes damn cute !

Thank you! I really tried to make this a gradual process, and not a quick fix. I loved writing the pancake scene, it was cute, and after sixteen pages of angst, I needed it!
