my understanding is that
psych stats will count for math and for your major
but you can only do that kind of thing once

so intro to antrho cant ALSO count for a values elective and your major,
or
research methods cant for science and your major

you get one time to do the double thing

i think that if intro to psych is only listed in your elective credits, thats okay, it can be edited

but! im on an old version of the course requirements, and they switched over to new rules after the 'class of 2008'
i think everything still holds true though

and i think an A- does affect the GPA
who's your advisor?

I already have a bunch of science classes from Meramec, so I'm okay with that.... but this is going to mean that I'm going to have to find something else for my values classes which will be a bummer. I sort of don't understand why my Intro to Human Rights doesn't count as a value class?

Also, the problem with my intro to psych thing is that intro to phsyc which it says in the online course catalog is a requirement for a social science degree (and which I can only assume IS a requirement because social science is supposed to include sociology, legal studies, anthropology, and psychology) Isn't listed as a course requirement in my degree audit? It's very confusing!

My advisor is Professor Teirney, who I like well enough as a person and a teacher, but she hasn't been a very good advisor to me.

I set up an appointment with the academic advising office for tomorrow, I'm hoping they'll be able to straighten things out.

...speaking from vast experience, it's not the credit hours or courses that universities are interested in, but rather the amount of money you have paid them. Once you have given them enough cash everything else is negotiable-they call it the 'life experience' exemption.
