[When Arthur had found out that Gwen had left the City, he had debated on whether or not he should go check on Morgana. She didn't seem to want him around lately if she thought he was trying to be helpful but... she did just lose her best friend.
So he had gone to her place and knocked on the door. If she wanted to be mad at him, that was just her being ridiculous.]
[Morgana had spent the past few days sulking. Yes, sulking. She ought to have been looking for work, as the funds from selling many of her dresses was running low, but with Gwen gone...she simply didn't have the heart. She had wanted to be independent, not alone.
But she was too proud to ask Arthur for comfort. A fine thing it would be, declaring her independence and then running to Arthur every time something went wrong.
So she just sulked. She didn't go so far as to forget to change -- appearances had to be maintained, even if only for her own sake -- but her body and demeanor showed signs of apathy and discontent. She could hardly bring herself to open the door...but she did.

[ this is Blair sounding very chipper and very sweet ]
--oh. Hiii~ it's Blair.
Just so we're clear, I'm calling you because Serena told me to, not out of my free will. But, long story short, I'm here to give you another chance. At being friends. You have great fashion sense anyway, and that satisfies rule number one. I'm sure we can work on the other ones soon enough~
[It takes Morgana several hours to decide to call Blair back. She has no interest in trying to be friends with Blair, and she seriously doubts that Blair actually wants to be friends with her. So why play into the girl's game?
But in the end, it's curiosity about what that game is that drives Morgana to pick up the phone. Blair isn't seeing Arthur anymore; she has no reason to want to be on Morgana's good side. So what is she up to?]
[ if only Morgana knew. It's actually the very fact that she's not with Arthur anymore that she's willing to do this. She waits until the third ring before picking up. Habits. ]
[The following awkwardness is less Morgana's feelings towards Blair and more she's from the Middle Ages and still doesn't quite understand phone etiquette.]

You, ahh, you left this when you moved out.
[She hadn't, it was a towel wrapped in brown paper and a string, but he had needed an excuse to come over.]
