i love hundertwasser! one of my favorite places in all the world is the kunsthaus (sp?) in vienna. have you been there? if not, you must go! amazing experience.
i love this little fellow.
good luck with your cat!
at least kitties can escape from eager toddlers to higher ground. does your cat have a perch?

yes, i've been there! i spent a whole day at the hundertwasser house - enjoying the museum, peering at each drawing and painting in detail, and staring up at the building he designed, admiring the wild twisting lines and of course the trees planted on the roof and windowsills!

as for the cat, we've kind of given up hope of finding a new home for him. nobody wants an older cat, and, besides, polish people in general prefer dogs.
we've had to develop some precautions - such as creating a little space where he can sleep high up, too high for the baby to reach. he sleeps there most of the day (under his own special lamp), and the baby seems to forget about him.
good luck finding a home for your dog - i imagine a dog would be even more of a problem with a baby who is just beginning to walk!

yes yes yes, inspiring indeed, especially his freedom of line and explosions of colour, as if he set his hands free to explore the page.
