what the hell is wrong with people?! why are they so damn lazy that they feel the need to plagiarize?! this is all directed at the Harvard sophmore that wrote some teen book but ripped off 18 passages from another author. she even had enough balls to copy a 14 word section verbatim. faaaaantastic. her publisher had given her $500,000 for this book

I couldn't agree more with you about that Harvard girl. I was watching her on the Today Show yesterday and she was giving some of the worst excuses. "It must have just been stuck in my mind." Every single paper I turn in at school goes through turnitin.com, if colleges can do that, I think editors can come up with the same thing
