note1: apparently i am really, and i mean really, bad at taking pictures of myself with someone else. i rarely get more then half of my face in the pictures. but i figure that's okay because i can look at my face anytime if i really want to see it, which i don't, so it all works out well.
note2: as soon as i won best hair, i began to slack off, as you can see in the next few pictures. not really though, it's just because most of them were taken during/after walking at least 11 miles wayyy too late at night/early in the morning, so everyone is all gross and greasy.

BRIAN AND I! for once i had the good sense to have someone else take the picture
the luminairies that were set up on the bleachers for Relay for Life. the entire thing raised $89,000 for cancer research. the premise is, you collect donations on behalf of your team. the idea is to keep someone from your team on the track walking at all times, from 5pm to 6am the next day. meanwhile everyone sleeps or plays soccer, football, or ultimate frisbee on the football field. or eats a lot, because there is a lot of food.

exhibit 3 and the worst case. anyway this is me and adam and we won best hair together.
lauren and alyssa. for some reason we thought it would be a good idea to give each other piggyback rides. my aching legs muscles are now regretting that decision.
michael and forsan in the tent. i don't know why we bothered setting up the tent, alyss and i lied down in it for about 15 minutes and ate cookies and that was all we used it for. no one slept.
mr crane. he was the organizer of relay. he's also my vertebrate anatomy teacher

we walked and ate wheat thin chips which are amazing and did cartwheels on the track so now my palms are black and had piggyback ride races and played frisbee and walked and stole oranges from a team that had fallen asleep and had this really awkward kid walked with us for like 2 miles telling us stories about his cousin who works with dolphins and walked and woke everyone in the camp up with our rendition of ashlee simpson's lala which is probably the best karaoke song ever and if you prance around and do jigs then no matter what you look like ashlee simpson.
