Mara: 23 years and counting...
hmm, what is it that drives a man to kill himself despite the gift of perpetual happiness? because among all those angels so desperate to come down to earth, he was that one being who was granted that gift.
anyway, enough of my blah... but this will be my reflection as a once 22 year old girl.
so what was that year like? well, i guess not much has changed, except for the fact that after countless months of badgering and scouting, i finally pursued that MA i was planning since college. im not really late in starting, i was just later than my peers in realizing that.
of course, i remember buying myself my DS for my 22nd birthday which has resulted to sleepless nights and frustrating unlockable moments. if i put all that i spent on DS game together, i could already buy myself a second pc.XP
i also got fat. damn....T_T my clothes don't fit me anymore.
i also got the cutest (after almond) of the cute chocobo named MacMac.*squeals in delight as MacMac runs around*
costripped is now off my to-do list, as i have already done it.
gone to Zambales, Rizal and Baguio (nothing new there).
I stay up later for gimmicks and drink a bottle of red horse and that yummy orange vodka.
far off places don't seem so far off now.
i make spur-of-the-moment decisions now. which is not so bad.
spent a whole lot a cash on a whole lot of clothes and techie stuff. been drooling over the tablet pc for months now.
i made a lot of new friends. i like that one. :) again with the realization that the world is indeed small if you choose to make it.
well, i didn't age a rip van winkle so don't look at me as if i've gone mad since im still playing arcade and video games.
23 is special. in many ways. one is the fact that some 10 years ago, my HS friends and i deemed 23 as legal, marrying age to the men we love who happen to be japanese, greek, american, arabian and chinese. among other things. memorieeeeeeee~ XP
anyway, here i am, older, wiser and hopefully more mature. thanks world for giving me one more chance.i am grateful.
