Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States.

Becuase, yeah, they get to grow up and enjoy the Barack Obama presidency, but because you were THERE, becuse you were able to witness, participate in and fully comprehend this historic and awe invoking election, it means a lot more. Our generation went from an eight years of fear to the sudden realization of HOPE in a matter of months. I think we're blessed that we were old enough to appreciate this election.

Ahh, you're right, you're right. We're old enough to understand and appreciate the significance of this, while kids may take it for granted. Yet we're young enough not to be as jaded, bitter or set in our ways of thinking like our parents (not talking about yours and my parents specifically; just some people's parents/some of the older generation).

Ah, seriously, I think we're blessed to be old enough to appreciate this, too.

Dude that was an awsome post! LOL! Like mine was just like "BARACK OBAMA IS PRESIDENT!! TT.TT *cry for joy* I LOVE YOU OBAMA YOU'RE EVERYONES HERO!!". But you put this in a really awsome way. I never thought about the kids who will be growing up with Obama as president. They are lucky, we're all lucky. After a while of thinking "OH NOES!! GREAT TIMING! DX
