There are a few AMVs that are really good; they have good video quality, nice video effects, nice synchronization with the song - but they're usually short. Judging by the average length of most of the AMVs that have been submitted, that might be to their disadvantage.

Wow, thanks for looking them over and throwing a few my way! :D I watched the four 1-minute ones - haven't loaded up the others yet - and I liked If I Could... (So pretty. I've never heard that cover of that song, either, I like it ^_^) and Seek You Out//Flay You Alive (really cool, nicely edited). I REALLY like My bad examples, the story, the editing used to tell the story, really awesome

XDD Namine the Creeper.

There are some Akuroku-vids, not many though. I think I saw four, maybe five - and there's an Akuroku-video that was recently added, they're not bad, but...I don't think they'll be tough competition. Then there's one Axel tribute to Linkin Park's "Numb", it's not a mindblowing AMV, so I didn't mention it. There's another Axel tribute called "I don't care"...it's in the mind-not-blown-category too.
There's one Isa/Lea friendship-AMV, it was cute, but I didn't care much for the song :/

I loaded up and watched Back to where we belong and Stay beautiful; MAN, that girl can make a good AMV! (I subscribed~) I loved Back to where we belong, with the little bits from the manga/doujins and all, and I thought Stay Beautiful was really cute and well-made, too
