Um what's with random English phrases in all the asian pop I've ever heard? It just strikes me as...odd and interesting. If I heard some mainstream crap from here wth random japanese or chinese phrases I'd be like wtf. Hm.

Because English is a powerful and successful language, it's extremely popular to insert random English words/phrases into Asian pop, regardless of whether or not they make sense. Actually I rarely find Korean songs that are entirely IN Korean these days.

AND GAH. THAT SONG follows me everywhere in Hawaii, seriously ^^;; It's like, everybody's ringtone.

Hmm that makes sense and is kind of what I figured.

And does it really? Haha I had no idea it was so popular. I actually heard it on some game I was playing..

Ditto. Asian people think English is "cool".
