Timber Jim, the Portland Timbers mascot, has retired after about 12 seasons of revving his chainsaw and banging his drum. He was surely one of the highlights of getting the crowd into character. Between him and the Timbers Army, surely was more then worth the price of the ticket to each game. Hate to see him go.

I bought some really nice dress clothes a few weeks ago to replace a lot of the older clothing I've been wearing for the past few years. I felt, and still feel, it's a good time to change. Tomorrow, it begins, the fourth and final season of Battlestar Galactica. It will actually be the first of moments I get to experience the series as it airs, since I didn't get to experience this amazing show until later after the third series finished. the older version of AOL Instant Messenger is still the best around in my opinion, distinctly 4.7 or 4.9. Simply because what it did, it did well. Sure, it lacks much of the technology you see in common messengers around today, and pretty closed to doing what you want to do with it (ala Pidgin).
