19 is Something I Can Never Have by NIN. Listened to that one pretty much nonstop 1991-1993.

Is 21 White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane?

Great song for that time in one's life I guess. I listened to it all the freakin' time too.. often in a psychadelic, sedate mind.. great mood/environment to drift into, though quite dark and cold, but wet.. like drowning peacefully in a dark ocean at night..

..which leads us to.. ?White Rabbit? .. Yes! Sir we have a winner!

Yes! The judges would have also accepted 'WHAM!'.. but really, what did that other dude do in the songs again?

Interesting trivia: "Careless Whisper" was actually released in the U.K. as a George Michael solo instead of as a Wham! single. The U.K. one was on Epic single A 4603. In the U.S., it was released as a Wham! group single with "(featurng George Michael)" after Wham! on the label on Columbia 04691.

Thanks for the info. dominique probably knew that already.

Once again I experience the "lack-of" prefix to my "music knowledge."
The first time I can remember such an event was in 5th grade when I thought "Jungle Love" was by Kool & the Gang. Most recently, it was when I thought "Since You've Been Gone" was by Ashley Simpson. :)

#8 - Get Together by the Youngbloods. (1967) On some CDs the title is shown as "Let's Get Together"

Until recently, I had never REALLY listened to the song. Its always been in movies that I heard it, or it was on in the background at various places. Some awesomely smooth vocalization and lyrics going on there.

Yeah, it was a nice song. Despite not selling too well in 1967 when first released, it got repopularized in 1969 as the theme for the National Conference of Christians and Jews on radio and television commercials.
