Heil The Fuhrer...

Jan 20, 2005 08:30

It's Thursday morning, and aren't we all excited for the crowning of our glorious leader? I've got myself draped in the flag, so I can deflect all those liberal insults. Don't you love righteous indignation?

I don't know about you, but I'm going to celebrate this glorious day by converting a faggot to christ!

Let's see...Here we have a "dirty ( Read more... )

How can YOU talk about tolerance?

Because duder, I don't go around actively trying to take away people's rights.

Funny how you can't defend anything in these articles, because you know you are wrong, these people are wrong. Too bad.

Your tactic is attacking the person, not debating the issue. It's an admission of guilt when you do that.

I haven't defended any of these people. I'm not attacking you at all, rather pointing out your hypocrisy. You are anything but tolerant of others' views if they differ from yours. All you do is attack Republicans, put them all in one little box, and blame them for all your problems. I don't understand how you can't see that. Also, what exactly am I guilty of?

You see fit to call me a hypocrite when you're the one who votes for this stuff. But "you don't support them on everything". You support them when you vote for them. Republicans aren't alike? Well if they aren't alike, they could stop being sheep and not support our fuhrer, right? 90% of republicans have no business being republican, economically they can't feasibly be one. But neo-cons get them to vote for their fears of whatever the current issue is (gays, brown people, abortion).

Barbra Boxer? Christ. I'm fine with her doing it, but dont put her up on a pedestal just because she does. Dissent is not nessecarily truth. Sometimes the tried and true answer CAN be correct. That does not mean that it is, but the possibility IS THERE. I'm no fan of Condi's hawkish foreign policies, but that woman has worked her ass off. She came from humble backgrounds and has accomplished. It's good to see a Black person (a woman nonetheless) as the secretary of state ( ... )

Ah, yes. "Traditional conservatism". If it were up to "traditional conservatives" there would still be slaves and Roe V. Wade wouldn't exist. Because after all, the "government" got into those issues.

And thanks for not wanting gay marriage, that's great. You DO know that the only way there will be gay marriage if the goverment issues marriage certificates? It's either that or a church. Which isn't legally recognized.

Marriage certificates are GOVERNMENT ISSUED.

Fuck, the government is society's ill, sorry to say. Thankfully my rights aren't in your hands, let along that other republican douche.

I never said that I was against the emancipation of slavery, although I am against Roe V Wade. That kind of shit should be handled in law.

"Marriage certificates are GOVERNMENT ISSUED."

"I want the government out of marriage" (previous comment)

My solution is for the government to stop issuing marriage certificates.
