It wasn't the power supply, it was a stick of Kingston ram that didn't feel like running at it's proper clock speed. I'm down to a no-name 512mb stick for a while. Funny how paying a bit extra for quality works out sometimes. ;) Let's see what warranty says.

I bought a 1 gb stick of Kingston. Hopefully my computer will stop locking up.
