We went for a walk on the beach. We saw a seal and a sea lion. The seal swam along the shore at more or less our pace for quite some time. It was neat-o. The sea lion was pulled up on the beach and, dry, the same color as the rocks around it, so we got startlingly close before I realized, HEY. NOT A ROCK. that is so cool! also? i'm jealous...the ocean/z = OTP, and it's just not close enough here for weekly visits.

The ocean is pretty damn awesome! Also, seals! Luckily the two can often be found near each other. (And now I'm having images of a seal lugging around a whole ocean. It's amusing to me).
