The problem with big bang is... what if you finish early? I'm such an erratic and unpredictable writer, I can just imagine finishing the Rodeo AU like four or five months before the posting date. So I'm just supposed to sit on what I hope/anticipate will be the biggest and best writing accomplishment of my life? For what seems like forever? Seriously? I... just... I don't know if I could do that. O_O

Also the 2nd: I had a rather momentous night and morning... sort of... in ways I'll tell you all about when I get home. In fact, I think I'll sort of have to tell you about it, since I expect to be seriously in need of an emotion dump by then. Nothing bad, nothing immediate, even, just... a very short conversation that may end up with very big repercussions. Hopefully the right ones for all concerned. I think I may finally have matured into a Good Person. Maybe. *misses roomie

Hmmm... That's a tricky one. I think in that situation you'd just have to post the Rodeo AU and then write another longfic. I solve all problems! You're welcome. But with careful beta and possible auxiliary fics, you could be fine-tuning and perfecting the Rodeo AU, you know. It might be productive and helpful to finish early!

I'm glad everything is proceeding apace. Don't stress about the life-building thing, okay? The job-having (and therefore money-having) thing would be good, but I think it's an excellent decision to take a bit of a break and chill with Mal and the pugs and your terrific new city. So, yes.
