Random, and Yuletide letter.
1. I could watch this adorable boy, unfortunate chinhair notwithstanding, perform songs in ASL all day long. And maybe I will.
2. Yuletide dude, you are awesome. Thank you! It's my first Yuletide and I'm quite certain I've managed to make your life difficult in some way or other, sorry! Basically, I'm easy as pie except for my inability to give you those awesome little prompts/fic seedlets that make starting a story easier. I like the slash, am cool with gen or het if that's your thing. Have no problem with the cliches (woke up married, sex pollen, undercover at a gay bar, existential angst leads to fucking, whatever), love a good slow-burning romance, not so keen on flowery dialogue or lots of puns, tend to think cleaving closely to canon is more of a limitation than a boon. Am crap at writing plot, but adore reading it. I'm cool with AUs. I'm okay with angst though would prefer to be put together again by the end of the fic. I'm a hard sell on threesomes/moresomes, but otherwise I'm hard to squick; if you have some unanticipated-by-me kink that you're unsure I'm good with, err on the side of assuming I'm good with it.

2.5. Um, is totally illegit for Yuletide, but if anybody gets it into their madcap genius brains to write adorable ASL-performing boy and/or his backup singers fic, I would be okay with that.
3. The little pisser/Odell/doglet #2 just had a nightmare and howled wretchedly in his sleep until I shook him out of it. This happens not infrequently, is the only time he actually howls, and is the cutest little sound/image of abject misery you can imagine. Adorable little fucker. (Longtime joke: his nightmare: "THERE'S NO MORE KIBBLE!" *cue heart breaking*)
