In 2009 I wrote these stories:

Ray/Ray smut for meresy's porn tag.

We have nothing to touch this engine (My Life as a Dog, Johnny/Louis, porny) for midsummer2009.

And my first ever Yuletide contribution, Slow Ship Turning (Fast & Furious, Dom/Brian, porny).

Oh my god, YOU wrote Slow Ship Turning? That was AWESOME! I loved it! It was -- wonderful! Perfect! I adored it! I'm the joan who left you a comment on it, by the way. That was me. I didn't realize it wasn't necessarily going to pass on our email addresses. I mentioned my two favorite bits in the comment, but it was a case where the whole thing was so right that I didn't even bother to single things out because it felt so correct that I could take it for granted.

While I'm pointlessly clarifying things... I'm not surprised that you wrote an awesome fic, I'm surprised that there are other FATF fanciers on my f-list, because I didn't know that, so I just assumed it wasn't someone I knew.

HEE. I kind of thought that might be you, and I'm delighted it was. YAY for you liking it! I'm totally flattered and pleased and beaming all over again.

(And your clarifications made me grin once more. Yes! There are FaTF fanciers ALL AROUND. Z, conveniently enough, being one of them. I was so very lucky with my fic recipient; I would have been happy to write most of the requests. Which made things easier.)
