I'm sorry I wasn't around tonight hon.

I know this has nothing to do with this entry and I'm sorry for that as well.

not apologise for not treating your mother like a mum. if you don't feel that way towards her it means two things 1. that your mother didn't do anything for you to feel that way, since usually children are more inclined to forgive their mothers for their annoying perks or their blunt flaws 2. because what you feel is what you feel and if you're trying to counterpart them, it'll be totally hypocrite and won't do you any good.

i don't know why your mother is so moody - maybe she realises she made mistakes and wants to mend the broken pieces, eg. trying to be your best friend and at the same time she doesn't respect your own privacy nor the life you're having now in Wellington, job, friends, online relationships. you can't rely totally on either of these behaviours ... i understand your confusion ...

thats just it. i dont really feel anything now. the only thing that confuses me is her behaviour towards me, and that is only because i just dont understand it. aside from that, everything is peachy.

I can understand how you feel when you mother visits like that. It's one thing when you are the guest and another completely when it's your home. I don't know the story behind your feelings about her but you are certainly entitled to them no matter what. And, no, you don't suck, I enjoyed the post immensely. :)
