The Britannian royal family had always been rather eccentric, and the people of Britannia were all right with that, really. It was, after all, the prerogative of royal families to be eccentric. And Cornelia, angry chipmunk faces and homicidal rages aside, had never seemed any stranger than most.
Well, at least, that was what people used to think. Most had revised their opinions, however, after the Princess had been seen having a liaison with a man with a squid for a face.

"Well, yes, if you must put it in such common terms," Il Palazzo interrupted, with great distaste (though to be fair, he said more or less everything with distaste, so this wasn't much different from usual).
The other two girls looked at Hyatt. Her skin was pale and cold; her eyes, strangely vacant; blood dripped from her mouth.

From the other end of the kitchen, Minagawa could hear the sound of countless pieces of crockery shattering on the floor. I suppose I'm going to have to do something about that, he thought with a sigh, and pulled out the voodoo doll.
