She honestly has no legal authority over you once you're of age. Though, I imagine it can't be all that easy to cast off one's family, however unreasonable their demands may be, and so all I suggest is that you don't do anything rash.

It wouldn't be that hard to cast off my mother, really. She's never been the loving type. I'd miss my dad and my sister very much, though. So, don't worry, I shan't be making any rash decisions. But, I shan't be marrying any boring old man because he's pureblood and rich either.

Girlie, find yourself a boyfriend of the rich, pureblood calibre i.e.: just go out with Quintus already! I could do with that 100 galleons! Bless the years when Titus had an extravagant concept of money and funds. and owl her plenty of pictures. I'd offer to go speak to her, but apparently she seems to think I was DISOWNED, and besides, she's scares me.
