New press release from Sony Computer Entertainment Corp. (AP 08-02-05)

Sony has announced that the Playstation 3 next generation video game console will include a new chip design incorporating a new graphics sub-processor, dubbed Slow-Fluid Motion, that will enable various kinds of fluid physics handling, completely in hardware.

Rumor has it that the lead technical hardware designer came up with the idea while taking time off to recover from a severe headcold.
