M loves sports, and can sit through a game. He has the entire week of the Nats first week of home games off of school. We can't go Monday, but I am thinking of taking him to the 1pm(ish) game on Wednesday, April 4. (Might take another 6 year old boy, too, if he has a friend who wants to go.) Would normally be delighted to skip work to go to a baseball game, but that day I will be skipping work and hiking with grandparents in California.

Keep me in mind for the future - also, Minor League games are an absolute hoot for kids - Bowie Baysox are right off 50/301... and yes, I can put up with munchkins :)

Yes, DH took M to a Frederick Keys game -- it is less than 30 miles from here, no traffic at those times. They both liked it. I will keep the Bowie games in mind, too! Thanks.

Hiking in CA sounds like a good deal, especially right now with the cold wind blowing.
