Shortly after I moved to my new place, it snowed. You came in to work late, fuming about the traffic, and how for utterly stupid reasons (snow, other drivers) your commute took an hour and a half or two hours. I said I quite sympathized, because it had taken me 12 minutes to make it in, rather than my usual 9.

Somehow, drawing from a bottomless well of inner strength, you found it in yourself not to kill me.

Yes, I remember that! I don't remember the specific impulse, but I do remember feeling quite, um, upset ;-)
