I remember deciding that our lives are parallel and painting that terrible painting... I was so adamant about it being a bird. And you told me how you were glad that you actually got to know me. There was this feeling of amazement... there's no other way to put it. Just we were parallel and realizing that was incredible and eye-opening. But what I didn't tell you was that I was glad that I took a chance with you... I guess I didn't feel like it was necessary to say.
