In the past six weeks, I've broken approx. £700 worth of electronic equipment by tripping over power cables.

EDIT: Actually, I'm being to kind to myself. I just worked out that it's less than two weeks.

A good case to start organising your power cables. I realised this myself some time ago, power cables get tripped over despite best intentions.
