as much of Murakami as I can get a hold of...

i would so heartily emphasize this one that it's not even funny. this man is beast. i don't usually do that whole fangirling thing, but i have read every single thing he is written and it is so worth it.

I haven't heard differently from anyone on him and i would hardly turn away from the fanboying thing. Kafka on the Shore blew my mind to pieces though so I have high expectations

late July or very early august. the trip to Vermont could be knocked out in the same go, but I wouldn't be able to get there until Audrey got home from China. It would be hard to take two trips that far north.

Wind-up Bird Chronicle is terrific, read it last summer.

Started Gravity's Rainbow, didn't have the intellectual stamina to read it during term time. Have you read other Pynchon? Something you would recommend starting with instead of GR?

I couldn't get into Portrait (had to read it for AP lit, but wasn't a huge fan), but I really liked Dubliners. Read that?

How's it been being back in Virginia this term?
